Great small town theater, seats are super comfortable!
It's a nice little theater just on the outskirts of town. The fare shown is mostly your AAA studio films: your Star Wars, your Indiana Jones, etc.
The ticket prices are good, as are snack prices. One can go here without feeling like they have to break the bank, which is a rarity in the moviegoers' world nowadays.
The theaters themselves are small, intimate: the screen is in perfect proportion to the theater, and the the sound system is good. It never feels like you're at a drive thru, for example.
The only weakness I can think of would be that, because they only have 3 screens, they're limited in the amount of films they can show at any one time.
Still though, hard to go wrong here if you want to watch a big, tentpole movie.
Dated building and amenities for sure but with super friendly staff. Seats are very comfortable for me (and i am a LARGE man - armrests fold up and are padded). Ticket prices are very affordable and refreshments are in line to low of what you would expect from a movie theatre.
Very accommodating for an independent theater. Comfortable seating and adequate acoustics made for an enjoyable experience. Didn't take advantage of available concessions but there is a wide array of options including the traditional popcorn and candy for the avid moviegoer. Get out and support your local small business for entertainment!
No frills at this theater which makes it very Gloucester. There's something special about watching a film here. They have a surprising number of films which change frequently. I adored seeing CODA at the Gloucester Cibema. I look forward to returning.
Such a quaint cinema. Clean, good selection, and yummy popcorn. Everyone there was super nice and helpful. Great way to spend a rainy day!
Good old fashioned theater. Great seats. Fun to bring the kids.
